LuMin St. Cloud believes that all of creation was made in God’s image. In sharing God’s love and grace with our community, we proclaim ourselves an Open and Affirming Community that welcomes all of God’s children regardless of race, culture, national origin, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, ability, economic status, background, or place in your faith journey.
We are dedicated to supporting causes of social justice and racial equality in our community, providing outreach, support and advocacy to members of our community that are all too often ostracized, pushed aside, or forgotten, just as Jesus Christ spent His time on Earth showing love to those viewed by others as lesser than.
LuMin St. Cloud invites everyone to join us on our journey together of Welcome, Service, & Inquiry.

Welcome We are an inclusive community that allows the expression of you, a beloved child of God. Whether Lutheran or not, rural or urban, local or international, queer or straight, studying for a trade or a PhD, deeply rooted in faith, questioning your faith, or having no faith at all, you are welcomed into our community. Through our worship experiences and gatherings, conversations and fellowship, you will find an intentional community that welcomes you and welcomes all. Service Christ calls us to love our neighbors, and be in service to others. As a community, we look for ways to be the hands and feet of Christ. Whether that is helping with food shelves or partnering with local congregations to meet the needs of the community. We empower our people to shine their light wherever it is needed, on our campuses and beyond. Our call to serve one another includes using our collective voices in support of, and creating safe space for, those on the margins in the campus community. Inquiry Faith is messy and finding one’s faith involves wrestling with ideas, challenging conversations, study and discernment. As a community we do not have all the answers, but we walk with each other along the journey. We are an inquisitive community willing to grapple with big questions. You are safe to have doubts about faith. You are safe to have an unabashed faith. We are a community that believes in the transformative power of God at work through our doubts and our certainties. With opportunities for intentional conversation and dialogue, our various speaker series and interfaith collaborations, you can find the space to deepen your faith, no matter what that means for you. |
